After the Children's Message in worship,
children ages 2 - 2nd grade are invited
to attend Bible Buddies & Children's Worship.

Bible Buddies
During the 8:15 & 11:00 worship services, younger children are invited to attend Bible Buddies.

Volunteers guide children in a simple art activity or game related to an age appropriate Bible story or concept. We use a variety of Children’s Bible storybooks to enhance our time together. Bible Buddies meets in the preschool hall.

cHILDREN'S WORSHIP
Children are always welcome to stay for worship, but we do offer several options for them. During the 11:00 worship service, children ages 4 - 2nd grade are invited to participate in children's worship. We use Godly Play, a Montessori inspired, worship experience for children.

"The goal of Godly Play is to teach children the art of using religious language...to help them become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives."

Together we experience a simplified variation of our Sunday worship. This time helps children prepare for participating in corporate worship.

In Godly Play, we sing songs of praise to God, employ simple sign language and use simple wooden figures to tell the stories of our faith. Children, by “playing” with the stories, make them a part of their own faith journey.
