How much should I give to the church?
No specific amount is set in the Bible or by the church. As we envision the ways in which God call us to serve, God asks us to be faithful and sacrificial in our financial contributions. Please prayerfully consider what amount you will give so we may continue funding and expanding the life of this church.

What does my financial donation support?
Donations support the daily operations of the mission and vision of the church and the church's commitment to community outreach. This is evidenced by the following programs:

• Outreach benevolence programs (20% of the operating budget) (link)
• Supporting our current staff
• Enabling the call of a new senior pastor
• Maintaining our facilities
• Paying the operating cost of our facilities and programs

Are there non-financial ways for me to contribute?
Absolutely. Second Presbyterian Church has many active ministries. You can participate in worship, volunteer with our community outreach programs, nurturing children, youth, and adults through our educational programs, assisting with activities for all members or individual members, prayer, working on a variety of committees, just to name a few.
